BIFE-TIMB (BUCHAREST INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE EXHIBITION) is the most important furniture fair both in Romania and in the Central and South-Eastern Europe. This fair is organized at ROMEXPO - the EXPO-CENTRE in Bucharest - every year (within the first half of September) and receives furniture manufacturers, as well as manufacturers of accessories and materials used in furniture production process and woodworking machinery manufacturers from Romania and abroad. Its aim is to create business opportunities for the exhibitors to promote their products and develop their business.

In 2006, 510 companies from 19 countries exhibited at BIFE-TIMB on 50,000 sqm (an area with almost 11% larger than that in the previous year). Only 77 exhibitors were foreign companies from Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, Poland, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Montenegro, Spain, Turkey and Hungary. The fair was organized on six sections where the newest ranges of furniture, interior decorations, furniture hardware, accessories, machinery and equipment, tools and devices for woodworking were exhibited.

Its next edition - BIFE-TIMB 2007 - will be held through September the 5^th - 9^th this year and, due to the hard work of its organizers, a large number of exhibitors and visitors is expected to attend the event. This year ROMEXPO will also host (as co-organizer of the event) the 5^th edition of the National Design Furniture Contest, an important event within the fair.

From the very first edition of BIFE-TIMB, Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association collaborates with ROMEXPO in promoting and maintaining this fair at a high-quality level, so we can tell we have seen this exhibition growing year by year. It has been continuously improved in all its aspects: organization, exhibitors' participation, area etc.

CLUJ-NAPOCA NATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR
The spring edition of CLUJ-NAPOCA NATIONAL CONTRACT FURNITURE AND FURNITURE COMPONENTS AND FITTINGS FAIR - CONMOB 2007 will be held through 7-11 March 2007 within the premises of the EXPO-TRANSILVANIA exhibition centre. At the fall edition of CONMOB last year, 92 companies exhibited on a 3,300 sqm net area. A larger and larger number of both Romanian and foreign visitors confirms the ascending dynamics of the event and, at the same time, represents a serious reason for you to participate in CONMOB.
